Energy Somatics Certification – Terms & Conditions

Certification & IICT Recognition

  • I acknowledge that completion of the Energy Somatics Practitioner Certification constitutes recognition by Energy Somatics Institute.

  • I understand that IICT Approved Training Provider status is pending, and once confirmed, this certification will allow graduates to apply for IICT practitioner membership and insurance where available.

  • I acknowledge that this certification is not a government license. I remain responsible for compliance with the laws and regulations of the state/country in which I practice.

Scope of Certification

  • This certification authorizes me to practice as an Energy Somatics Practitioner in alignment with my professional licensure, scope of practice, and applicable laws.

  • This certification does not authorize me to teach or certify others in Energy Somatics.

  • If in the future I wish to bring Energy Somatics facilitators into my organization or run training programs, I agree that I must obtain written permission from Dr. Brett Jones and Dr. Kate Jones.

Practice & Legal Guide Compliance

I have received and agree to follow the Energy Somatics Graduate Practice & Legal Guide, including:

  • Certification is distinct from professional licensure.

  • I will not use protected titles (e.g., “massage therapist,” “psychologist,” “doctor”) unless properly licensed.

  • I will avoid making medical claims, and instead describe Energy Somatics in safe, supportive terms.

  • I will obtain informed consent from clients, maintain appropriate boundaries, and carry professional indemnity/public liability insurance where available.

Photograph & Video Release

I hereby grant permission to the rights of my image, likeness, and voice as recorded on audio or video without payment or consideration to Energy Somatics, Kairos Excellence PC, or The Source Chiropractic Franchise PC.

  • I understand my image may be edited, published, or distributed, and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product.

  • I waive any right to royalties or other compensation.

  • This release is unlimited in time and geographic scope.

Participation Release & Assumption of Risk

In consideration of being allowed to participate in Energy Somatics events, modules, coaching, certifications, and activities:

  1. I acknowledge a potential risk of injury.

  2. I knowingly assume all risks, known and unknown, arising from participation.

  3. I agree to comply with stated and customary participation conditions.

  4. If I observe hazards, I will remove myself and notify a facilitator.

  5. I release, indemnify, and hold harmless Energy Somatics, Brett Jones, Kate Jones, Kairos Excellence PC, The Source Chiropractic Franchise PC, staff, and associated organizations from liability related to my participation.

Intellectual Property & Use of Materials

  • I acknowledge that all teachings, recordings, handouts, videos, audios, coaching, and course materials are the intellectual property of Energy Somatics, Kairos Excellence PC, The Source Chiropractic Franchise PC, Brett Jones, Kate Jones, affiliates, and guest educators.

  • Materials are provided for personal use only.

  • I will not copy, distribute, or replicate any content for monetary or non-monetary gain without prior written authorization.

Restrictions on Use of Certification

  • I acknowledge that this certification does not authorize me to present myself as a licensed health professional unless I hold such a license.

  • I acknowledge that this certification does not authorize me to teach Energy Somatics or certify others.

  • I agree to practice Energy Somatics ethically, within my scope of training and applicable laws.

Student Responsibility & Integrity Statement

By enrolling in the Energy Somatics Practitioner Certification, students acknowledge that they are responsible for their own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Each student affirms that they are in a place in their life where they can step into this work from a foundation of integrity across all of these dimensions.

Students agree to disclose any relevant health conditions, injuries, mental health considerations, or other potential contraindications to receiving or facilitating Energy Somatics work to the facilitators prior to participation. This ensures the safety, respect, and integrity of both the student and the clients they will serve.

Refund Policy

Energy Somatics Practitioner Certification enrollment requires a non-refundable deposit to secure your place in the program.

  • Refund requests for tuition (excluding the deposit) must be submitted in writing no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled in-person certification event.

  • Refunds will not be issued for requests made after this date.

  • If a student withdraws for any reason within the 30-day window leading up to the in-person training or fails to attend, tuition payments are non-refundable but may be eligible for transfer to a future training at the discretion of Energy Somatics leadership.

  • All approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of the written request.

This policy is in alignment with previous Energy Somatics events and ensures clarity, fairness, and commitment from all participants.

Agreement

By checking the box/signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, and I release Energy Somatics, Kairos Excellence PC, The Source Chiropractic Franchise PC, Brett Jones, Kate Jones, affiliates, presenters, and guest educators from any claims arising from my participation.
